Inaugural competition will award free textbooks to one professor’s class during the 2019–2020 academic year


BOSTON, March 12, 2019 — FlatWorld, a publisher of college learning materials that are both affordable and high quality, today announced the first annual FlatWorld Textbook Scholarship.

“At FlatWorld, we’re committed to bringing the price of high-quality textbooks back down to earth,” said Alastair Adam, Co-CEO of FlatWorld. “In an effort to further our mission of making learning materials affordable for all students, we’re establishing an annual textbook scholarship program that provides textbooks to one professor’s class free of charge.”

During the 2019–2020 academic year, FlatWorld will award free textbooks, including access to our included FlatWorld Homework, to one professor’s class for an entire academic year. The FlatWorld Textbook Scholarship is available to any faculty teaching at a U.S. institution, including professors who are currently using a FlatWorld textbook as well as professors who are considering adopting a FlatWorld textbook for the first time.
